Curren possesses a Sacred Artifact that is used during time travel. With it, she is able to control the timing of acceleration and kickback at the same time. Most of the time it takes a form similar to a devil's sickle resembling the hour and minute hands of a clock. The second hand is given a different form and equipped onto MS-C1. It is the World Pillar of a certain world as well as the key to an orbital elevator. Originally it was something difficult to create in Tokyo, but the technology of another world has made it possible. It is one part of the System meant to observe the world where human evolution was accelerated. Curren has two consciousnesses, though the App treats them as one being. This property identification has only appeared for a brief moment in the long history of the game, which was when the System's God was absent from the world.
Curren is based on Arthur C. Clarke, a British sci-fi author and inventor.
Interestingly, Overlord is based on one of Clarke's novels, Childhood's End.
Curren's summoner mark is located on her chest and has the appearence of a two interconnected circles surrounded by a winged crest.
Their Charge Skill, Clock Hands Time Accel is possibly based on the 1993 American science fiction movie 12:01, which was centered on a particle accelerator causing a time loop. In Japan, the movie was released under the name Time Accel 12:01 (タイムアクセル12:01).
