If this was written more like Hunter x Hunter then I be okay with it but the game won't shut up about bonds and friendship, the protagonist never kills or truly hates anyone, and the game keeps having you befriend everybody regardless of past trauma and conflicts. If you want a protagonist whose a bit bias and hypocritical with their morals than just do that. I like characters like Gon and Luffy.
The characters never really dwell on these issues or when they try characters excuse it. At first it was the Genociders now its practically everyone in part 2.
Where were you when Tokyo was nuked every chapter since 2. Unless you mean the destruction of property and death of an entire population isn't a serious issue.
What really annoys me about this game is that it brings up some serious sh*t but immediately drops it after it's brought up. Transient Trafficking, Transient discrimination by the police, the 3 branches of government being completely corrupted, systemic poverty/homelessness, violation of human rights via experimentation, ect.
The issue I have with characters like this is entirely due to context. I can totally get behind characters doing evil things if that's the point but in this game you place as someone who has a sense of morals and wants to help others. I can fathom how anyone like that can be friend with someone like this and not lead to some unfortunate implications.
