"A Transient from the Land of Wa and one of the eight dog warriors, bearing the Orb of Propriety. And indeed, propriety weighs heavily on his mind at all times as he perpetually finds himself philosophizing on the nature of humans versus beasts, pondering just how much of a role propriety plays in separating the two. He studiously devotes much of his time to the pursuit of literature, history, and psychology to find an answer to this riddle, and it's said that whosoever crosses wits with him for even a moment will quickly come to question everything they've ever believed in. In some circles, he's highly regarded as a mentalist, while he's also renowned for being able to trace and analyze crimes through the psychological actions and reactions of both perpetrator and victim. His abilities are so finely honed, in fact, that even among the police force, there are many who swear it's as though the souls of the dead have taken over his body and guided investigators to the smoking gun through first-hand accounts. Literature is his truest passion, however, and by his own account, he lacks the talent for writing that he desires most of all. Though born a Canis Therian, he was raised not by his parents but by Felis Therians who treated him very poorly. This has led him to harbor something of an identity crisis, forcing him to constantly question his own doghood. Ultimately, Masanori seeks an unchanging constancy in an ever-changing world, and it's clear this is a pursuit he will never call off, even as the world turns topsy-turvy around him."

Transient from the world of Wa no Kuni and one of the Hakkenshi, bearing the orb of Courtesy. Masanori is constantly thinking about the decorum that divides man and beast. As such, he is a diligent person who focuses on history, literature, and psychology in his attempts to learn about it. It's said that those who come in contact with him have their perspectives up to that point jolted in an instant. In some neighborhoods, he gets tremendous support as a mentalist. He is also second to none when it comes to tracing the thoughts of victims and assailants of crime scenes. Many in the police force believe it's as if he were possessed by the spirits of the dead. Masanori himself would say it's just insufficient to the literary talent he desires. Masanori may be born a dogman, but he was raised and abused by a monster cat. Due to this he has a bit of an identity crisis and spends every day affirming that he is a dog. Today is another day that he spends looking for a certain something that will not change even if the values of the world suddenly flip around.
