Love Quests make the scene, starting with Shiro, Kengo, and Ryota. Through Love Quests, you can establish relationships between characters. Protagonist's Love Quest only has a battle, no story.
Details
The love connection is determined by the character in your leader slot (slot 1) and the chosen Love Quest. The character in the leader slot will become loved by the character featured in the selected Love Quest.
For example, by finishing Shiro's Love Quest with Moritaka in the leader slot, Shiro will fall in love with Moritaka. However, Moritaka will not fall in love with Shiro.
A character can be loved by any number of other characters. Conversely, a character can only love one other character.
The scenarios are not custom-made for every pairing, but there are minor dialog changes depending on the character you use, due to their relationship chart. In Shiro's case, there is a variation in dialog during his confession scene if you use either Kengo (whom Shiro is disliked by) or the Protagonist (whom Shiro likes).
Requirements
Like Character Quests, there's a Limit Break requirement: You have to reach the third and final Limit Break. In addition, you sometimes have to have finished all Character Quests for the character.

Effects
Finishing a Love Quest with a character will grant them an Affinity Burst if they are next to their loved one in battle. This specific relation boost will provide the love-struck character with a flat amount of HP at the end of each turn.
Forget-Me-Not
If you wish to break up two characters, simply go to their status screen and tap the broken-heart icon. Doing this costs one Forget-Me-Not. Accounts created before the addition were given four from the beginning, with more being obtainable from Andvari's Shop in exchange for Rainbow Shard.
