"A starting member of the rugby team in one of the top athletic schools in Tokyo. The emotions he shows are never subtle but he believes he's a very complex person. He's a lineman who respects anyone as good with physical force as he is. However, he's vulnerable to mental aggression, and is easily swayed when anyone expresses their interest in him."
A member of the rugby team at a prestigious sports school in Tokyo. He likes to think of himself as a complicated man, but he wears his emotions right on his sleeve and is actually very easy to read. As a lineman he excels at physical pushing, but is exceptionally weak to psychological pushing, and becomes flustered and bashful very easily.
"The strong allure he emits for non-humans has led him to become possessed by a myriad of Stray Transient spirits known collectively as Legion. He is deathly afraid of ghosts but continues to tell himself that ghosts don't exist. Legion loves him, and gathers to protect him whenever danger is close. He tends to get along with other athletes... In fact, athletes are the only ones he gets along with."
He plays willing host to Legion, a strange creature composed of thousands of souls in a single, hivemind form. Although Gunzou is a superstitious man who fears things like ghosts, he puts on a brave face for the sake of Legion, who cannot get around without the assistance of another to help them. Legion shows their gratitude when Gunzou is in danger, lending him the strength of a one man army. Rather than being able to converse with people who devote themselves to sports, those are the only people he does talk to.
"He attended an integrated sports school and focused solely on rugby, causing him to be single for the last 17 years of his life. Thus, he falls in love easily if, for example, his hand brushes against another person or some other petty reason, causing him to go out of control and end up getting rejected. If he ever receives Valentine's chocolate, his assumptions will know no end. He would dedicate the game to his love and run through the field like a loose cannon. No obstacle can stand in his way; not in the name of love."
