"Leannan Sidhe's Sacred Artifact is a book of sheet music she uses as a Notebook to plan her various productions. It's capable of taking intangible things like a person's hidden talents and bringing them to the fore for all to see. This is visually represented by musical staff notation dancing all around her, with musical notes constantly drifting by like boats on a river. Some say Leannan Sidhe is able to follow these notes to the very source of her current partner's talent, then give shape to that talent in a manner destined to hit it big. The downside to this is that when her partners inevitably succeed through these efforts, the credit for their successes invariably goes solely to them, with few others ever taking note of her contributions. In effect, it's as though she's acting unseen from backstage, always firmly outside the limelight. This is not entirely unintentional, as the Notebook Sacred Artifact also has a habit of absorbing the talent from those who fall in love with her, leaving them weak and debilitated. This is why Leannan Sidhe is always prepared to take a step back from those she helps, distancing herself from the bonds she's forged so as not to hurt anyone. Barely any third parties besides Leanan Sidhe and her partner are aware of the compensation required for being able to see what can't be seen. She is prone to dealing with things that can't be seen wherever she is. Also, her artifact absorbs the talent of the one she loves and can quickly weaken them to nothing. Because of that, Leanan Sidhe is always keeping herself at arm's length from her partner so she can distance herself when necessary. She gets on well with people who like music and poetry.

Leanan sídhe is based on a Celtic fairy that had vampiric tendencies. These fairies choose human lovers who live short but inspired lives. The name is based on the Gaelic terms for a lover, sweetheart, or concubine and the mounds where the fairies lived.
- Sith (alternate spellings are Sídhe and Sí depending on region) is a name attached to creatures that were often associated with the supernatural. It can be loosely understood to mean "fairy" but it is more closely translated to "of the mound" as the "sidhe" were the name of the mounds that dot Irish landscape and were often believed to be the the entry way to a different world.
  - Leannan Sidhe's name could be loosely translated to "Fairy Lover"; in a similar manner to Cait Sith (Fairy Cat) and Cu Sith (Fairy Dog).
- Her overall theme of music and her ability to draw out the talents of the ones she fell for is based on the idea that these fairies were muses who exchanged inspiration for love and devotion, though it often leads to madness and death of the artist.
Her Charge Skill "My Lagan Love" is in reference to a traditional Irish song of the same name which uses Leanan sidhe as a metaphor for all-consuming love.
- The Lagan is argued to be a stream located in County Donegal where the song was collected or a separate river that runs through Belfast in Northern Ireland.
