"A Transient forged by the dwarves in the world of Yggdrasil. The sword he carries has the power to fell even a giant in a single swing, and a powerful Rule that grants victory to its wielder. It was originally the possession of his master, and is of such high quality that he has yet to become fully proficient in its use. His master is fated to fall in battle, but had they not given away this sword, they may have been destined for a different fate. A modest Therian, Gullinbursti does not wish for the formidable strength of the sword, but nonetheless, trains constantly to make himself worthy of bearing it. He is bewildered by those whose mindset may differ greatly from that of a boar such as himself, but still finds them fascinating."

A Transient originating from the world of Yggdrasil, forged by dwarves. The sword he holds has the power to slay even a giant with a single swing; it is said to have the powerful ability to bring its bearer victory. This sword is something that originally belonged to his master, and since its abilities are too strong he cannot handle it very well. He lost his master in a certain war, but maybe if he had never relinquished the sword his fate might have changed. As powerful as it is, Gullinbursti humbly does not rely upon it, continuing to train himself until he can be the person he sees himself in it. Those who think of themselves and those who live life differently than as boars do bewilder him, yet he cannot take his eyes away from them.

"Gullinbursti trains day in and day out in order to become the guardian his master created him to be. He is so powerful that he can run through water, and even thin air. Nothing will stop him and his superhuman strength once he has chosen a destination. Motivated by the hopes that he will be able to use his brawn to aid his master, he lifts his dumbbells nearly daily. His favorite food is mushrooms, freshly harvested from the mountains. He harbors a strong will to oppose any who would rival his position as a guardian."
Translated from Japanese
In order to meet the expectation to protect his master as he was made for, he works hard training himself every day. His physical strength is such that he could run right through the seas and sky. What made this superman level antic possible is his personality, which focuses on one thing and never stops when it starts running. His chest swells with the hope of one day using his independently tempered muscles for his master, and today he raises his heavy dumbbells as well. His favorite food is freshly picked mountain mushrooms. He also hides a competitiveness against rivals for the guardian position.

on the contrary, the infobox is pulling out raw game data. it's not about translations, but rather a real hidden pointless gameplay feature, where gullinbursti has damage advantage over a status that isnt persistent to even be taken advantage of, with a multiplier of 1x. In other words, even if he could take advantage of remove buff, it would multiply the damage by a null factor that doesn't increase or decrease the damage anyway.
Think of it as a mistake on whichever team at LW is responsible for implementing the kits.
His default on both 3* and 4* is still displaying an incorrect translation. it has no interaction with remove buff at all, in any way or form. i think this is a remnant from bad JP translation from when he was first shown.
If any character reaches max charge on the second attack of combo, they won't use their charge skill, which is extremely useful because combo also makes you build charge like crazy.
Combo can also be applied by mobsters, which practically spam it.
Movement debuffs only affect when you try to move the character on your turn. They don't block pushes or pulls (and Gullinbursti's skill is a self pull).
Pushes/pulls only move characters that they directly affect. If there's a character that wasn't affected in the way, they won't move or swap places. Gullinbursti's skill only affects himself, so he can't move allies.
Combo adds a second, independent attack. You can trigger On Attack and On Miss skills with both attacks (so in theory Gullinbursti with combo could move forward two spaces if he had enough empty space), and the charge attack only replaces your regular attack. If you have combo, you can use your charge attack and a regular attack immediately afterward. You see it all the time with Ophion.
P.S. I did some testing with his 3rd skill and found two things (maybe three).
First: He still moves one square forward when able even if he suffers movement de buff like Paralysis from his own charge skill or Fear, not sure about Crushed/Break yet.
Second:I should clarify that he can only move forward when he misses an attack and the row is empty in front of him. Now I tested this skill with Combo that you can place on him with either Volos or Tetsuox and found not only will he move forward if able but also make an attack as well.
But here's the weird thing I found and this may apply to other units, if Gullinbursti has Combo and has his Charge Skill(Thrust Attack) ready but there's no enemy unit in front he can still make a second Normal Slash attack without using his Charge Skill.
Since the wiki doesn't really describe his skill set that well I'll explain what his 3rd and 4th skill do from what I've seen.
3rd skill:Not only knocks the enemy back one square when possible but if there's no enemy unit in front of his row when he attacks Gullinbursti will move one square forward.
4th skill:99 square radius basically means the entire map is affected which is pretty handy for large or horizontal maps.
I hope this helps anyone curious enough that thought of using him in their team/line up.
OK! Is anyone else having "Lagging" issues with Leveling Up and Skilling Up this character? His numbers lag behind and don't show properly on the Leveling screen :/
Slightly disappointed he's not chubby with a nice muscle gut, but he's hot regardless so it's nice either way.
His kit looks a little weird though. Interested to see if it works or not. I get the feeling his blowback on self will get insanely annoying to be honest.
He seems really meh gameplay wise, but he’s hella cute and free so it balances itself out in the end. Also helps that he’s drawn by Waku who has moved up to the top of my list of favorite artists this year.
I really love it, the artist is one that I've been loving this year and getting a bara sexy human is all what I need to be happy, glad that is not furry haha cuz I hate boars and we have one in the game, also is really easy to get yei
