Official Japanese 主人公たちが通う、神宿学園の教師。如何に生徒を愛し、教師として相応しいかを、同僚の教師であるジンと常に競っている。豪快な性格で放任主義のジンとは対照的に、規律を重んじ、真面目な性格をしている。マーマンと呼ばれる種族で、水中での活動が得意で、同学の水泳部にて競泳や水球の指導を行っている。水気のある所が好きなため、神宿学園の寮監室ユニットバスでの寝泊まりが日常のようだ。同学に勤める物部教諭に対し、強い敬意を抱いている。

A teacher of Shinjuku Academy where the protagonist and friends attend. He's always competing with his coworker Jinn in what ways they love their students and their appropriateness as teachers. In contrast to Jinn's lively nature and hands off approach, Triton prizes order and has a serious personality. As part of the species known as mermen, underwater activity is his forte, so he coaches the swimming and water polo teams at school. He likes moist locations, so he normally lives in the Shinjuku Academy's dorm manager's bath unit. He holds great respect for his fellow teacher Mononobe-sensei.
