Example gameplay role breakdown.
Mostly he's just a debuffer with ability to debuff enemies with {{Status|en name=Obstruct}} and a buffer to surrounding allies. But after a fixed number of turns periodically, he can granting himself {{Status|en name=Crit+}} that increase his damage and granting him CP from 50~100 CP but also granting him {{Status|en name=Weakness}} that increase damage he will be taken.
His Charge Skill can deal an insanely damage to an entire area and granting him {{Status|en name=Taunt}}.
Even though he seems strong, but with {{Status|en name=Weakness}} and {{Status|en name=Taunt}} on him, he can be very vulnerable if enemies are not defeated yet.
To avoid that situation, you can either pairing him with allies or equipping him with an AR that can remove {{Status|en name=Weakness}}.
Overall, Tindalos is a character with a versatile roles, he can be a buffer, a debuffer and a nuker.
But if you want to make a use of him, you need to consider what role he is in your team and pay attention to number of turns of each phrase to use him wisely.

Overview

Tindalos

Tindalos makes for an interesting mix of offensive support and glass cannon. He will normally sit idle and consistently provide his nearby allies with two powerful offensive buffs, though also slightly lessening their durability, as well as Obstruct-15% skill activation rate for 2 turns (Debuff) enemies in a large area. He takes the spotlight once every three turns, emerging with his powerful All-range CS to potentially wipe out the entire enemy board, which is very likely since it comes with a guaranteed Crit+ATK Up by 2.5x ~ 5x for 1 turn (Buff). This turn is also when he is at his most vulnerable should any enemies survive to fight back, while during the other two turns he is guaranteed to evade all attacks (though each will also deplete a flat amount of HP from him). In general Tindalos is a very powerful unit with certain drawbacks to keep in mind, which can easily be patched up with proper care and the right allies.

Highlights

Tindalos

Class: Offensive Support

Gameplay Role: Offensive Buffer, Conditional Damage Dealer, Conditional Tank

Pros

+ Consistent buffing for any allies near him without having to move, opening up many options for team compositions.

+ Two out of three turns he will grant himself EvasionDEF Up by 0.01x ~ 0.005x for 1 turn (Buff), letting him freely tank big hits.

+ Every three turns he will emerge to likely wipe out the entire enemy board, which even ignores Evasion.

Cons

- Opens himself up to get killed even by weaker units every third turn, should anything survive his CS.

- While he can evade everything two out of three turns, the HP down he suffers can add up if he is hit too many times, requiring healing support.

- Moving to apply StigmaDEF Down by 1.15x ~ 2.3x, -150~-300HP/turn for 3 turns (Debuff) also depletes allies' CP, though this can be used to avoid wasting big Charge skills similar to his own.

Gameplay Role

Mostly he's just a debuffer with ability to debuff enemies with Obstruct-15% skill activation rate for 2 turns (Debuff) and a buffer to surrounding allies. But after a fixed number of turns periodically, he can granting himself Crit+ATK Up by 2.5x ~ 5x for 1 turn (Buff) that increase his damage and granting him CP from 50~100 CP but also granting him WeaknessDEF Down by 1.2x ~ 2.4x for 1 turn (Debuff) that increase damage he will be taken. His Charge Skill can deal an insanely damage to an entire area and granting him TauntAdds aggro to unit for 2 turns. (Buff). Even though he seems strong, but with WeaknessDEF Down by 1.2x ~ 2.4x for 1 turn (Debuff) and TauntAdds aggro to unit for 2 turns. (Buff) on him, he can be very vulnerable if enemies are not defeated yet. To avoid that situation, you can either pairing him with allies or equipping him with an AR that can remove WeaknessDEF Down by 1.2x ~ 2.4x for 1 turn (Debuff).
