Overview

Alice

While Alice used to be a pure Dazzler without much else to offer, her skill evolution added some more niche to her. In addition to expanding her Dazzle range even further, she can now do something similar to Shiva's CS, but in magic range and only on the enemy's side. Like Shiva, Alice has control over when this happens, so she can safely move to utilize it when enemies have stacked enough buffs to outweigh any debuffs they may be holding. Conveniently, as this happens on move in the same range as her attack, targets are nearly guaranteed to be left with Dazzle, plus any other debuffs her allies might bring.

Halloween Alice

One of the few female units and the sole variant until Christmas of 2021, Halloween Alice offers enough to stand out after her second skill evolution. Having Attack Up at phase start, higher base attack value and Slash range, she can provide much better damage than her version. She can also apply Dazzle the same as before, though at smaller range which can be brought back to her original Magic range on move in exchange for thinned damage spread. Additionally, she can provide some team healing and CP, but this skill needs defensive support from allies or her own Dazzle, as she has no other means of self-defense and can easily die, especially to Aether units. Her second skill evolution gave her a unique offensive niche when paired with debuffers such as Ellie, since she herself only has access to two debuffs after the added Skill Lock.

Highlights

Alice

Class: Disruptive Support

Gameplay Role: Debuffer

Pros

+ Can reliably apply Dazzle at Magic range, reducing enemy threats.

+ Removing all buffs from enemies at Magic range on demand can be useful in certain quests. Moving additionally grants her Glint for increased Dazzle rates.

Cons

- Since Dazzle is a fairly accessible debuff nowadays there is little reason to use her over units who can do more, aside from her buff removal niche.

- Removing all buffs and debuffs from enemies does not pair well with units who also rely on debuffing enemies.

Halloween Alice

Class: Disruptive Support, Glass Cannon

Gameplay Role: Debuffer, Damage Dealer, Healer

Pros

+ Can hinder enemy damage same as before, though she has to move if she wants the same spread.

+ Decent damage thanks to the combination of Attack Up and increased damage to Dazzled enemies.

+ Can provide some healing and CP to her team, provided they grant her some defense or she is only struck by enemies with hindered damage.

Cons

- Realistically only has three skills.

- No real means of self-defense for utilizing LB3 past her own Dazzle.

- CS only offers a small heal in addition to a nowadays very common buff, making it underwhelming past damage.
