Overview

A slightly different form of support, off the bat, you see Volos works with uncommon ranges, either purely horizontal or purely vertical from his position. In the long run, vertical-like positioning is preferred, given LB1 doesn't need repeated casting to be in effect, allowing you to focus more on the greatness that is LB2, applying Barrage to allies is amazing, and can break "On Attack/After Attack"-focused allies like no one's business, that alone makes him deserving of a slot for offensively-inclined parties, with its upgrade, it hugely increases its proc rate and allows you to apply it with near-certainty and adds a humongous self-heal that can quite help his survivability due to LB1 not applying to him. LB3 is very underwhelming since often Volos will be in the backlines, making its effect hardly worth mentioning. His Charge is fantastic, currently a fairly exclusive ailment that makes enemies attack themselves, which can make for a few funny moments, especially if you manage to land a hit on playable character enemies.

Class: Offensive Support, Healer
Gameplay Role:
Pros
+ LB1 Regen serves as a fantastic passive heal buff, complementing his LB3 partially.
+ LB2 Barrage to some allies defines him as one of the very few characters to give Barrage to his allies, which makes for some potentially broken interactions.
+ With the upgrade to LB2, the proc rate sees a heavy increase and adds a guaranteed humongous heal for him to respectfully approach.
+ Charge is fantastic for its effects, Possessed is a fairly rare player ailment and can help you turn priority targets against their allies.
Cons
- Default is generally useless.
- Past LB1, whose range is different from LB2, he’s mostly defined by LB2 alone, which while amazing and highly coveted, isn’t necessary in certain cases.
- LB3 may sound useful, but his attack ranges hardly make its effects worth, you’ll only optimally be affecting someone in front or behind, same goes for LB2, it’s even worse if nearly useless on 3☆.
