He considers himself the next in line, but he's also number 18 under King Solomon's hierarchy and respects that. If his summoner can prove themselves a worthy successor to either of those two superiors, then Bathym's vocal tones will carry a current of 100% loyalty. His wish is to be seen, and as a demon he lives on the praise and worship of others (AKA their attention). Normally he does so as a Berserker in the Ikebukuro Underground Arena, and at certain times he does it as a nightclub dancer. This time he's sublimated the leg techniques he's proud of into breakdancing and showers himself in attention on the dance floor. If the master he once served as number 2 were to be with him, then his footwork will get even fancier. It's no exaggeration that among the demons of Gehenna there is no one captivate themselves as well as Bathym. Next time he goes to the nightclub, the dance floor might turn into his big stage to show himself off to his old superior. That's not the only reason he goes clubbing though, as he also likes spending time leaning back at the lounge's bar counter.
