☆3/☆4 Kenta

Kenta’s skillset is decent yet works just barely for what he does, Berserker's negatives get patched up with Tenacity and Pierce being generally a good range helps stabilize his damage, but that’s about it. Default is very situational and LB3 being pretty underwhelming for an effect of its kind, at the LB tier it is leads him to be outclassed by other Pierce characters and others overall. Still, he's got a good element and has sufficient tools to be potentially good, slot him with a party that can handle his shortcomings and he might just be usable, otherwise spare this child and his “dog” from fighting. One can argue his Default upgrade benefits him, but this is mostly for LB1, which is the aforementioned Berserk buff, it only increases the already decently-high odds of him getting his double-edge sword damage buff.

☆4 Valentine Kenta

Being brought to enjoy himself to an event about love and happiness has made Kenta (Valentine) quite eager, shown by his mostly supportive but nonetheless offensive skillset. Off the bat the most standout traits are the fact that he can supplement uncommon buffs on top of Crit for his frontline allies, something that allows for very scary combinations with him as the centerpiece of said chaos, he also gets Crit for himself which can help patch up his attack range’s otherwise rather lacking damage output. He also offers partial healing through Blessing and helps himself through semi-constant healing, but he really could have kept his former Tenacity to completely solidify his important aspects, otherwise he will require the much-needed defensive buff supporting and good frontlines to fully bring out his potential. Even with such strict requirements, once he finds that sweetspot, there’s nothing that’ll stop his party from destroying everything in sight.

☆3/☆4 Kenta

Class: Bruiser

Gameplay Role:

Pros

+ A nice LB1 whose negative effects get mostly patched up by LB2.

+ His LB1 applies to his Charge for considerable damage.

Cons

- One can argue that Default’s upgrade is somewhat useless due to the fact only LB1 gets affected, it being Berserk makes it a gamble.

- LB1 Berserk generally makes his durability terrible, making LB2 an obligation to have up if without outside sources to reduce damage.

- LB3 is almost useless, especially for being an underwhelming LB3 compared to almost everyone else.

- Charge isn’t anything spectacular past respectful damage.

☆4 Valentine Kenta

Class: Offensive Support

Gameplay Role:

Pros

+ Done correctly, you have Crit+Herculean Strength+Attack Up for his frontline allies, an extremely dangerous combo for skyrocketing damage.

+ Has considerable amounts of self-healing thanks to Blessing, his LB3 and his Charge, all important to help his survivability partially.

+ Owns a modest Charge that can heal for quite a bit if you manage to fully hit it.

Cons

- His extremely strict attack range and effect range makes him suitable only for certain compositions, making part of his effectiveness vary.

- Part of his important aspects require him to be hit and be exposed to damage, requiring defensive buffs as backup if he wants to exploit his full potential.
