Overview

Jacob

Jacob can only be defined as a prime example of a specialized unit. His role is exclusively to eliminate, very effectively so, a single enemy unit each turn. Combining his undivided attack value with high rate WeaknessDEF Down by 1.2x ~ 2.4x for 1 turn (Debuff) and BreakCannot move at will, DEF Down by 1.2x ~2.4x for 2 turns (Debuff), alongside permanent ComboATK Down by 0.6x (excepting charge attacks), attack twice each turn for 2 turns (Buff), ensures even the toughest units cannot survive his holy fists, and if they somehow do then his allies can make use of both weakening debuffs to easily finish the target off. Distance is also no issue for Jacob, pulling enemies in at shot range to easily eliminate them with CritATK Up by 2x ~ 4x for 1 turn (Buff). Unfortunately, with his lack of self-defense, he can get overwhelmed by large groups of enemies without some defensive support, while ranged enemies who can resist forced movement like him can be troublesome to reach. Jacob is truly a formidable boxer and likely the best unit to bring to eliminate single targets, but that is as far as his merits reach.

Pros

+ Devastating damage to single targets that few can survive.

+ Reliable proc rates including a permanent Blessing+300~600HP/turn for 4 turns (Buff).

+ Can attract units out of range, which his fellow melee allies can utilize too.

Cons

- Exclusively single-target damage, including his CS, that fares poorly against large groups.

- No means of self-defense against non-Blow units, requiring defensive support to last, especially against Infernal units.
