*R-19 is heavily inspired by the Replicants from [[Wikipedia:Blade_Runner|Blade Runner]]
An android who came to Tokyo through the Utopia gate, created by the denizens of that world for the purpose of collecting information and surveying the local culture. Its appearance as a young boy is intentional, to stir protective feelings and a desire not to harm the unit in others. It is equipped with a learning AI in order to respond flexibly to situations as they arise, but its experience is currently shallow and poorly mimics emotion.
