===Memories Encroaching (3)(Shinjuku)===

After being filled in on the state of the Berserkers, Toji has a hard time processing how Shadows, beings he assumed were just mindless mirrors of normal people, could have organized themselves in order to pull off such an attack, but eventually comes to the conclusion that someone organized and strengthened them to the point where he isn't sure the two of them alone can be able to deal with them. After the Protagonist fills him in on what They have seen up to this point, Shiro solidifies that Shiro indeed has been taken over by Yog-Sothoth, though he admit's there might be a chance to save Shiro if they can remove the Sacred Artifact from his control long enough to disrupt the memory merging. With that in mind, the two decide to head to the [[Tycoons]] base to get in touch with Tsathoggua directly. However, they are immediately accosted by Shadows trying to force the Protagonist back to their Safehouse, forcing them to fight their way through.

As the Protagonist, Toji and Tsathoggua struggle to deal with Kayo, the Portal belonging to the [[Wisemen]] has come under attack from the Shadows. However, they are quickly being dispatched by {{Transient icon|Musashi}}, a samurai-in-training currently under the Wisemen's payroll. After dispatching the last of the Shadows, Musashi reports back to {{Transient icon|Shuichi}}, who had plenty of time to access the Portal's escape routes with Musashi running interference. After making their way-out of the guild, Shuichi wires Mudashi the payment for his work, but is confused why a warrior with the body of an elementary student would need the money, forcing the warrior to subtly admit that 'Musashi' is actually an amalgamation of memories from each of the five blades he carries that reside in the body of the real Musashi, who is currently MIA after an unknown accident. As the both separate, Shuichi warns Musashi against heading toward any of the wards affected by the Genociders attack while Musashi advises Shuichi to stop dumping all his faith on his brother {{Transient icon|Duo}} and start trusting other people more, though Shuichi is resistant to take him up on that advice, as he intends to win the Game simply to have Duo sit on top. However, winning the Game soon turns impossible as a phone call reveals that someone has been contracted to kidnap Duo, the Wisemen's Guild Master, though they promise to return him safely after the Genociders have been dealt with.

Cut to Tokyo Casino. As she evades the attacks aimed at het, Kayo reveals she intends to take over the Tycoons in order to repay her debt to Azathoth, having been assembled from Hakumen's scattered memories through his power. Completely outnumbered, Tsathoggua warps Toji and the Protagonist out of the bunker while he deals with Kayo and the remaining Shadows. As the two struggle tp process what's going on, the Protagonist finally manages to get a call from Ryota. After confirming that both parties are all right, Ryota passes his phone to {{Transient icon|Maria}}, who reveals that the Genociders' Shadows have been attacking everyone, not just them and the Berserkers, before the line cuts due to another attack from the Shadows. The Protagonist asks Toji if he knows anyone who could be able to help them, but Toji informs them that his list of contacts has dried up since before he joined the Summoners and that they are likely better informed than he is. When they reveal that they don't, Toji suggests focusing on the numbers again, and they realize they were actually a phone number. Calling the number, the two find out that the number belonged to Shuichi, who suggest that they meet up to discuss a temporary alliance between their two guilds.
