Overview

Oguchi Magami

Oguchi Magami is a bruiser who relies on snatching buffs from enemies attacking him before answering with some damage of his own. He can conveniently take enemy buffs before their attacks actually hit him, which will result in better durability most of the time by snatching something that modifies damage taken or dealt. Without relying on enemies using buffs, Oguchi has two means of self-defense with TenacityDEF Up by 0.9x ~ 0.45x for 1 turn (Buff) and AdamantineDEF Up by 0.9x ~ 0.45x for 4 turns (Buff), though the former's activation rate is unreliable and the latter only activates once per battle. His LB3 provides good damage to fight back with while LB1 lets him reach his CS faster, which will provide much better sustain than it since he is a free unit meaning he will benefit from the maximum heal. Overall, Oguchi is a well-rounded unit who can make do even without enemy buffs to snatch, though his activation rates are less than stellar.

Pros

+ Snatching enemy buffs before they can hit him allows him to gain their defensive buffs for durability or their offensive buffs for reduced damage dealt by them.

+ Has plenty of defensive and offensive options on his own to excel even against enemies without buffs.

+ Can charge his CS quickly if he is taking hits, where he can steal buffs more reliably and gain full heal value since he is a free unit.

Cons

- Besides LB2, his skills' activation rates can be unreliable.

- LB1 provides an underwhelming maximum of 400 health per attack, meaning he has to rely on his CS or taking enemy healing buffs for sustain.

- Low range for doing damage.
