He's quite well known for doing well in both sports and schoolwork. He was raised as such, was expected to be utterly perfect, and always rose to those expectations with a smile. Perhaps it's that very part of him that made him naturally highly interested in people who are lacking. Such things can include things like damaged corpses at crime scenes or the reality that detached lizard tails that can still move. Pazuzu has a habit of wildly swishing his tail when he's excited. He admires the plebeian lifestyle so he likes the retro style of Ueno's dorms, though he has the discretion to not say so out loud.
