At a safehouse near Shinjuku Station, one of several controlled by the [[Summoners]] thanks to their previous business with {{Transient icon|Claude}}, the guild, along with {{Transient icon|Tsathoggua}} and {{Transient icon|Hanuman}}, relaxes for the weekend despite {{Transient icon|Shiro}}'s attempts to have a normal meeting. Once he gets everyone under control, Shiro informs the guild that, after the fiasco at Tokyo Casino, he did some digging around and found out about the infighting among the [[Tycoons]]' hierarchy, with Ophion and {{Transient icon|Lucifuge}} in charge of one faction and the other headed by Tsathoggua and {{Transient icon|Hakumen}}. With Hakumen currently missing and Tsathoggua now in their custody, Ophion and Lucifuge, despite the existence of an unknown guild master, now stand as the de facto leaders of the Tycoons. Tsathoggua then steps forward to fill in some details: the Tycoons are merely an alliance of top authority figures in Roppongi that assign rankings based on social standing within the guilds forces, with their guild master being no more than a figurehead needed to allow their guild to exist. He also provides knowledge on the abilities and personalities of Ophion and Lucifuge, including an attempt by Ophion to lure him to his side due to his powers not being tethered to the APP's rules, something he claims Shiro can due thanks to his own artifact.

As the guild struggles to come up with a plan to deal with the new threat, {{Transient icon|Ryota}}, who briefly left to restock their snacks, warns the guild that they are currently surrounded by attackers Ophion sent to look for Tsathoggua. Tsathoggua insists on teleporting them out, but Shiro, worried that the erratic use of that power might overtax the Old One, resolves to have the guild fight its ways through the limited number of opposition so they can slip by.
