He is the creator of everything in the island, the open skies, the earth and the flora and fauna, the god of this alternate world. Those living on his isolated island view him as a father that brings happiness. He’s somewhat overprotective. Those who visit his island and are grateful are treated as his own children, and are welcome to stay. After he created the island, he lost his entire body leaving only some bones, and made with them the staff that acts as his Sacred Treasure. Only those tribesmen warriors strong enough can be chosen as the successor of the bone staff. That warrior will inherit Tangaroa’s memories and spirit, and thus unite and lead the tribe. | |||
