Kijimuna is fairly unorthodox for a “tank”, he suffers a similar issue to Tsathoggua, where his “tanking” capability comes from self-healing and no defensive buffs for himself. His LB1 should be treated mostly as a bonus since it takes positioning and a scarce trigger method for it to happen, so it should always be made use of in some way. As 3☆, with a LB2 upgrade, he can reach his Charge faster, which is fantastic to nullify nearly any damage your party takes for the incoming enemy attack.

Gameplay Role:
Pros
+ A nice LB1 for boosting his allies’ damage.
+ Default and LB3 slightly help his survivability through sheer self-heal power.
+ Fantastic Charge, it can easily save you from a losing fight.
Cons
- Unorthodox attack ranges, with 4☆ somehow having Strike instead of 3☆ Pierce.
- Has a lot of special damage bonuses, with all of them being mostly useless, making LB2 on 4☆ largely useless, if at most all situational.
- Default and LB3 would have been amazing if it applied to his allies as well, but he has no real ways to approach them by himself either.
