Salomon-kun AR Card

With the announcement of Main Quest Chapter 9, LW released details of the AR Equipment features.

  • Players can receive Salomon-kun upon completing the quest under the Lessons marker and by completing missions related to the main quest; other methods of acquisition are currently unknown.
  • AR Equipment can provide additional stats (labeled as effects); for example, Salomon-kun supplies +100 ATK and HP
  • Equipment can also provide additional skills; for example, Salomon-kun supplies: "[When Appearing] Increase CP / 100%"
  • However, equipment may impose a restriction; for example, Salomon-kun can only be equipped to an All-Round-typed unit.
  • All AR have a cost of 1, no matter the rarity. At the current moment, the max AR cost for a team is a limit of 1, so only 1 AR can be equipped per team. This will be increased in the future through some method.

The following can be presumed based on existing game data:

  • AR Equipment level up in a similar manner to leveling cards; a Good, Great, and Awesome can occur to modify the EXP gained.
  • AR Equipment level up in a similar manner to skill leveling cards, in which it's percent based.
  • AR Equipment possess an upper level limit, similar to Sacred Artifact levels; that is, obtaining duplicate cards will raise this parameter.
  • AR Equipment can be leveled up to 100. So far, it can be assumed that every Equip level requires 10000 XP to proceed. Each level is assigned to an arbitrary group ID.
  • AR is equipped to each character on an individual per-team basis, not an overall character basis, and each individual AR can only be on one character per team. For example, Salomon-kun can be on Protagonist on Team 1, and on Christine on Team 2, but you cannot equip Salomon-kun on both Protagonist AND Christine at the same time on Team 1.

Get more copies of the AR and use AR tokens to level them up. Any rates that aren't 100% to start will usually double between level 1 and 100, so if an AR skill is at 30% it will get to 60% at level 100. 50% becomes 100% and so on. Unless it's a farmable AR, you'll usually be stuck with low activation rates due to AR banners having terrible rates

This game mechanic reminds me of the memoria cards from magia record where you put cards to boost your characters.

I think they're really cool I just think making the summon for one cost the same as a new unit is very excessive. Maybe 1 or 2 transient stones or maybe use the ally summon points but 5 transient stones?

>>3031 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabsolutely not worth it. the rates are garbage and you need to get the same card multiple times for it to be of any use.

if you have a fave, save for them instead, definitely, 1000%.

Worth rolling for AR? I’m leaning more towards saving for my fav unit

Sounds like a pretty cool concept, LW should make more of that equipment. It would be pretty hard to make quests for each one, so they should make a gacha for it or something. As for the cost, maybe make it cost as much as regular units because fuck you and no, we're not giving you more stones.
