Skill Levels

All cards start at skill level 1.

As you increase the skill level of your cards, the power of their skills increases. The chances of their skill activating will increase, and in addition the effect of the skill itself will become more powerful.
Skill Levels can reach a maximum of 100.

Skill Timings

Every skill has a specific timing in which it will activate. The various skill timings are as follows.

Beginning of Phase 【フェーズ開始時】

Activates when a Phase begins. (Note: This means a new wave of enemies. It does not mean the beginning of each turn.)

Before Attacking 【攻撃前】

Activates right before a character attacks.

When Attacking 【攻撃時】

Activates when a character attacks.

After Attacking 【攻撃後】

Activates after a character attacks.

Before Damage 【ダメージ前】

Activates right before a character is attacked.

After Damage 【ダメージ後】

Activates after a character is attacked.

While Moving 【移動時】

Activates when a character is moving. Typically used for skills that enhance your movement range.

After Moving 【移動後】

Activates after a character moves.
Note: What this really means is that a skill will activate after you select it for movement and let go. You do not actually have to move the character around. Forcefully moving other characters will not activate their own After Moving skills. In other words, you can only activate one character's After Moving skill a turn.

Special Attack 【特攻】

Activates when attacking, but only in certain conditions.
Example: a character with the Special Attack skill 屠竜の勇者 (Dragon Slayer Hero) will do extra damage to enemy characters who possess the skill 竜を継ぐ者 (Dragon Inheritor)

Special Defense 【特防】

Activates when attacked by a weapon or skill of a certain type.

During Victory 【勝利時】

Activates when you win a battle.

Skill Formulas

The general formula for most skills that cause poison/burn/etc, increase damage dealt, or heal is:

In addition, the duration of most buffs caused by a Charge Skill is often determined by the number of enemies hit by the Charge Skill. For example, a Kenta's Charge Skill gives the Protection buff to all nearby allies. If Kenta hits 2 alive enemies with his Charge Skill, the Protection Buff will last 2 turns. If Kenta hits only 1 still living enemy, it will only last 1 turn.
While this is true of most Charge Skill buffs, not all buffs caused by a Charge Skill work this way.

Critical 【クリティカル】

Base Value: 2x Damage
Increases the damage of your default attack for 1 turn.

Heal 【回復】

Base Value: Varies
Heals a character by a certain amount.

Blessing 【祝福】

Base Value: 300 for 3 turns
Heals the buffed unit at the end of each turn.

Rejuvenation 【再生】

Base Value: 400 for 3 turns
Heals the buffed unit at the end of each turn.

Fighting Spirit 【闘志】

Base Value: 1.2
Increases damage dealt.

Herculean Strength 【剛力】

Base Value: 1.15
Increases damage dealt.

Increase CP 【CP増加】

Base Value: Varies
Increases CP of a character by a certain amount.

Acceleration 【加速】

Increases CP gained at the end of a characters turn.

Roused 【奮起】

Increases CP gained at the end of a characters turn.

Evasion 【回避】

Base Value: 0.01
Greatly decreases damage received from enemies.

Stubborn 【頑強】

Base Value: 0.9
Decreases damage received from enemies.

Protection 【守護】

Base Value: Unknown
Decreases damage received from enemies.

Diamond 【金剛】

Base Value: Unknown
Decreases damage received from enemies.

Vertical Movement Increase 【縦方向移動力増加】

Increases the distance a character can move vertically.

Cleanse 【弱体解除】

Removes debuffs.

Debuffs

Poison 【毒】

Base Value: 100
Deals damage to the afflicted at the end of each turn.

Deadly Poison 【猛毒】

Base Value: Unknown
Deals high damage to the afflicted at the end of each turn.

Burn 【火傷】

Base Value: Unknown
Deals damage to the afflicted at the end of each turn.

Cursed 【呪い】

Base Value: x0.8
Decreases the amount of damage the afflicted target deals.

Bewitched 【幻惑】

Unknown. Possibly decreases the amount of damage the afflicted target deals?

Charm 【魅了】

Prevents the afflicted character from attacking or using Charge skills.

Skill Seal 【スキル封印】

Seals the afflicted's skills.

Fear 【恐怖】

Reduces CP of the afflicted at the end of each turn by 10%.

Purge 【強化解除】

Removes buffs from the target.

Skill Radius Keywords

Adjacent 【隣接1マス】

"All adjacent allies" or "all adjacent units" means adjoining units perpendicular, not diagonal, to the caster 1 square away. In other words, only horizontally and vertically.
In the game, 隣接1マス means all adjacent units 1 square away, NOT including the caster. 隣接1マス内 means all adjacent units INCLUDING the caster.

Nearby 【周囲1マス】

"All nearby allies" or "all nearby units" means all units 1 square away, including diagonally.
In the game, 周囲1マス means all nearby units NOT including the caster. 周囲1マス内 means all nearby units INCLUDING the caster.
