Location: Kasai Seaside Park
It is currently clamming season at the seaside park during the holidays.
The place was packed with tourists, families and students.
Due to the warm weather,
some people are playing beach sports in their swimming suits.
In the middle of the sandy beach,
there was a figure of a boy, in a daunting pose.
The wide ocean, the blue sky, the sparkling sand... |
It's the clamming season! |
Manila clan? Common orient clam? Turban shell? |
T-h-a-t's r-i-g-h-t, I'm searching for a lover! |
Finding lovers, making out with them, |
And then I'll take a picture, |
Hoho. Everyone's going to be envious. |
However, there's just one problem. |
Just kidding! Kah! Damn it! |
Daddy! Mommy! You'll see! |
--A few hours later--
H-huh-? |
Damn it, how? |
Even with the combination of the head-scarf and tight fishermen's clothing, |
But in actual fact, all of them just laughed at me. |
Damn it, taking all the shell fish you can, |
Blue seas, idiots----! |
Eeeeeeeee! A sudden attack from the sea! |
[spitting] |
O--i, that boy over there. |
A-a sea monster!? |
Covered in seawater in front of Eita,
it was a big crocodile beastman.
The weather might be warmer now, |
It is good to be lively. |
O-okay...! |
I understand. |
Hey, you girls over there. |
As he walked,
Makara watches out for the college girls.
They approached Makara to talk to him,
and invited him to play with the beach ball--
Well, I would love to, but, |
I'm a lifesaver. |
Makara politely declines the invitations.
But when something happens, he rushes to the situation.
It is noted that, regardless of age or gender,
many cried out for Makara without hesitation.
Students who invited him to play and swim, an old man who expressed his gratitude,
and a child who wanted to take a picture together.
And--
A young man who asks him out on a date, blushing.
o-oh my... |
W-what is it with this guy! |
Hey, the crocodile guy over there! |
What is it, little boy from before? |
Yes, I need a big one! |
Oh, do you need the toilet? |
It's different----! |
Please calm down, little boy. |
Makara bent down,
matching Eita's eye level.
Teach me, the secret of being popular! |
P-popular...? |
I was watching from a while ago! |
Even if you say so. |
T-this is my dad's natural enemy... |
No way! There must be something! |
If I can become someone like uncle... |
I just tell everyone, |
I only do it because it's my duty. |
I've never thought about being popular. |
...! |
What about you, little boy? |
Of course! The seas of the world are my ocean! |
There might be scary places, but all things considered, |
If that's the case, it's not something anyone can mimic. |
I don't know if I am popular..., |
You and me, little boy-- |
I-I guess...! |
My name is Makara. |
Oh! |
Also, I'm a high school student. |
What, really!? With a body size like this!? |
Then, little boy, |
Eita! Someday I'll travel the oceans with my legs, |
Hehe, are you falling in love with me? Big bro croc! (Please say yes...!!) |
He decided to strike a pose.
From his belly, there was a loud noise that came out from it.
Spontaneously, the two of them burst out in laughter.
Ahh, crap. |
Wahaha! Eita, you must be hungry. |
Over there, I'll use the shellfish I collected from the clamming season, |
Butter-baked clam cowder with pasta. |
I'll cook lots of it. |
(Damn it, I, a fisherman, |
(However, today, I met a man of the same sea. |
He could not fight his hunger.
Together with Makara, Eita went to the beach hut.
