He looks up to shuten as the epitome of chivalry, his role model, and also someone so powerful that he has the ability to control all of Tokyo should he choose. He is mortified by the current lack of progress Shuten has made in taking over Tokyo, focusing instead on playing baseball. When he fully releases his oni powers, his appearance will completely change.
