Overview

Introducing the World element and slightly redefining Shadow and Hero into a new element Azathoth is a bit of an oddball. He relies on his Charge and a raw base Limit and Berserk to deal damage and generally sits around and gives Regen to his allies every now and then, a trait that’s very welcome as much as his LB1, which helps eat up enemy buffs progressively. There’s also the fact that he can be essentially immune to ailments with proper judging thanks to his Default. What’s the odd trait here is his LB3, which plays directly and solely towards his Charge and exploiting the Limit part of it, which will greatly destroy any durability he has, so you have to feed hm Guts constantly or find a way to keep him alive if you want to fully exploit this trait since it’s automatic and very constant.

Class: Glass Cannon, Healer
Gameplay role:
Pros
+ Nullify Debuff on demand(?) allows him to get around potentially crippling ailments with ease.
+ LB1 is a considerable pseudo-Purge, proper management of it can cripple buff-reliant enemies considerably.
+LB2 offers neat bonuses with better positioning and amazing passive heal thanks to Regen.
Cons
- LB3, while it greatly helps reaching his Charge due to its absolutely constant proc method in a turn-per-turn basis, it also greatly strains his durability.
- Charge offers two great effects, but both are scaling buffs and Limit needs him at low HP to do any considerable damage.
- Due to all previous points, he’s reliant on any form of healing and defensive buffs from his allies, otherwise he won’t last much.
