Current and Upcoming Events and Updates

Date Quest Campaign! (2024)

New Date Quests will be released during the campaign. Starting off the campaign will be Date Quests for   Tindalos and   Echo, who will also share a Transient Summon banner with each other. Following them, Date Quests for   Akiha Gongen,   Kimun Kamui,   Chernobog, and one more secret Transient will be released. In conjunction with the Transient Summon banners, two AR Equipment banners, one with new AR Equipment, will also be held for the duration of the campaign. In addition to that, there's a new set of farm quests with it's own shop. These quests also drop all elements of the   Fire Drone Pilot mob. The higher rarity ARs featured on the new AR Equipment banner provide an additional drop bonus compared to other ARs.

Skill Evolutions

There will be new Skill Specific Quests to improve the skills of certain units. These quests will be added as they're released.

System Changes

After the next event there are plans for a few changes to the game! These changes include:

  • Adjustments to the Daily Quest content.
  • Adjustments to the Weekly Quest content.
  • The ability to have other characters other than the   Protagonist and   The Hero be dispatchable to other guilds.

Plans for 2024

An official English translation isn't available on the news site so do handle the information in here with care. LifeWonders revealed their plans for the new year, but details, such as dates and specifics of some of the new features, are still unknown.

  • The Roppongi Dungeon alongside it's story was released.
  • We are approaching the climax of Book 2 of the Main Story. Chapter 15 is targeted to be released in the first half of 2024.
  • Date Quests will be added for:   Akiha Gongen,   Chernobog,   Tindalos,   Echo,   Kimun Kamui, and more.
  • Sale of the Summopedia Vol. 5 is projected to begin before the end of 2024.
  • LifeWonders will be appearing at the 2023 Winter Comic Market on December 30 and 31.
  • A customizable home screen will be added that can feature your favorite characters, ARs, or images made in My Guild.
  • Optimizations will be made in order to make loading times between screens faster. This is slated to be released in the first half of 2024.
  • Also in the first half of 2024 changes will be made to the Login Bonuses to allow for a more laxed approach for logins, mainly your login streak remaining no matter if you haven't logged in.
  • A feature will be added that displays event bonus amounts on cards.
  • A button will be added on card enhancement screens that will allow you to instantly go to your Message Box.
  • You will be able to use multiple   Level Seed or   Skill Seed at once.
  • The amount of teams you can save will be expanded from 10 to 15.
  • Guild affiliations will be expanded, including for characters who previously haven't had a guild revealed for them.

What is Tokyo Afterschool Summoners?

「Tokyo Afterschool Summoners」 is a mobile "Card Battle RPG" developed by LifeWonders for both iOS and Android. Gain cards by Summoning, strengthen your favorite character cards, defeat enemies and advance through the story.

The player can choose from up to 5 appearances and/or voices for their main character, and either Male, Female, or Other.

The game launched in December 2016. Currently the game is only in Japanese with no English patch available. However, there's an internal English translation; it's automatically detected based on system language and/or timezone.

Is it worth playing this game for the husbandos and bara tiddies? Feels like i’m getting my hopes high in the sky with those abysmal 5* rate and scarce transient crystal resources, tho i really really really like these arts especially bara ones

This game is the best. Not just popular VAs, but also popular pixiv and kemono artists. For example, kinoshita-jiroh is a well-renowned kemono artist with many followers on twitter, is the creator of Mekko Rarekko, and is the person behind the design of several popular TAS characters (Moritaka, Asterios, Ashigara to name a few). The story is also p good, surprisingly. Fun turn-based gameplay, and this is coming from someone who generally dislikes turn-based games. Most important, though, it caters to a very specific demographic that has been poorly catered to in such a way by other video games before. I didn't expect to be so ecstatic to see chubby furry husbandos available in a publicly advertised game. Feels surreal.

Check out the Discord and see if you can snag some friends (with decent support characters you can use). I also use it so just @Arathun me there if you want a decent ☆5 support Licht.

I know the answer is a bit late but I still hope it'll reach you. I don't know about old phones or Steam but if your issue is playing the game you have an alternative. Assuming you have a computer, you can play on an Android emulator like Nox. I advise you to at least give the emulator 2 cores.

It's a rare drop from the event quests. Harder difficulties have a higher drop chance (though they haven't said what the chance actually is).

It has already received an official translation for English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. You can check those translated main story quests in Memories section from Setting menu, if you have completed them. If not done yet, you can play them anytime you want. Hope this answer your question.

Thats just how the game works. It have a weird thing with the loading, a best way to do is just to sleep the phone dont close the app, and leave it loading. it will load the one that need to be loaded for that quest by the game. It also load the one that is loaded in that quest for other quest with same background and chara and stuff. If you dont want it then just skip the story and play the battle, you can still check the story in the option->memories(will still need to load the one that needed in that)

What to do if i always get resource load error?

Like i'm trying to battle, i get a black screen and eventually it tells me it's a "resource load error".

If i force quit and restart,it actually loads in,but i have to do this every time...

I predownloaded everything,my wifi is good,already restarted the phone,reinstalled the game but nothing helped.

Can someone add an accurate update patch thing? like to check out the updates we get ? I always saw update stuff etc but cant tell what they added/changed. The only way for me to see its only through the Twitter of Dev's which its always a pain to wait updates about it
