The reason for that was the complete evaporation of the snow battlefield military budget. The party responsible is known, nothing amiss there. Business as usual. Grumblings of "how about I just tear out all those whiskers?" unconsciously slip out, but for now it's a matter of how to make the best of the situation. That said, the event that dried up budget for is already opening soon, so maybe enjoying himself to the fullest is good enough. It'll also be good to show everyone who's the cutest on the front lines of the battlefield. And so Tanetomo smiles as he usually does, snowball gatling gun gimmick in hand to trivialize any dodging capabilities.
