Enigma seems to sincerely wish to complement his incompetent master's ego and show his abilities. On a side note, secretaries used to refer to those who handled secret documents for their kings. Enigma also feels that since he can replicate himself infinitely, the border of the individual sense of self for each copy is thin. He thinks that since he is purely an artificial intelligence, the only meaning to his existence is in compensating for incompetent people.
