Due to a certain event from long ago she was punished by a deeply jealous person, so she was forbidden from initiating conversations with others. As a result of that she still has trouble with speaking to others even after being summoned to Tokyo, and she has a deeply ingrained habit of repeating words that have been spoken to her. This punishment is why she lost her first love, and on top of that she holds deep regrets for having been unable to save her love. Echo is poor at standing up for herself so she tends to get carried away by the current mood, tends to blame herself, and feels responsible for many things. She feels that she cannot stay like this so she is working hard to better herself in this regard.
