Everything around is meant to be used in the System that sends fuel referred to as sacrifices to the sun. One of his brothers objected to this System, then left the world. However, even after Xolotl ran away, he believed that his world was right. Now in the land of the underworld, Xolotl wields the Sacred Artifact his brother once held. It is the dragon's relic made of burning turquoise that severs the land. But why does he have that? Why does HE have that? In pursuing these questions, Xolotl remembers about the days he went on a journey with his brother to the burning realm of the dead Mictlan. Just like back then, he will go hand in hand, lend his assistance, pull up his courage, and hold his hand out hoping that they'll take his hand. He will never hate children who run off to dangerous places, but they do make him anxious and frenetic as he remembers his past.}}

He severely regrets having abandoned his friends in the past and took this occupation of body guard in order to train himself, mind and soul. He is contracted to the Tokyo Casino owner but his mistress has gone AWOL, leaving him to sulk while continuing his work at the Roppongi Guild. As a loyal guard dog, he detests anyone who is hostile toward his mistress but because he is such a coward, he would never confront such an offender.

Based on the Aztec god [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xolotl Xolotl], the brother of Quetzalcoatl and the guardian who would escort the sun on its journey through the underworld each night. When then gods were to be sacrificed to give life to a new sun, Xolotl feared for his life and ran away.
* Xolotl is based on the deity of the [[Wikipedia:Xolotl|same name]] in [[Wikipedia:Aztec_mythology|Aztec mythology]]. Xolotl is a god of fire, lightning, twins, monsters, and sickness; and was often described as a dog-headed man. He is also closely associated with death as Xolotl was a [[Wikipedia:Psychopomp|psychopomp]], beings that would lead the souls of the dead to the [[Wikipedia:Mictlan|underworld]].
** In one variation of the [[Wikipedia:Five Suns|Five Suns]] in the legend of [[Wikipedia:Teotihuacan|Teotihuacan]], the gods decided to sacrifice themselves for the newly created fifth sun. Xolotl withdrew from the sacrifice and cried to the point where his eyes fell from their sockets.
** And according to another story recounted in the [[Wikipedia:Florentine_Codex|Florentine Codex]], the fifth sun did not move as it was created. ** In his Special Quest for the Sunshine Christmas event {{Transient icon|Itzamna}} says Tezcatlipoca is his sibling; by that logic that what make Xolotl his sibling as well.
