Oscar is the playwright of the famed student theater troupe that is located in Yurakucho, City of Drama. Oscar writes the scripts for his troupe and is the one who gives out roles to each actor. One such role would be the giant lumberjack's partner calf that appears in tall tales. Another role would be the fuzzy being that has left only footprints that appears in folklore. Any actor around would say performing a role would be the same as putting on a mask, but Oscar would say that it's when you have nothing on your face that your words are furthest from your true feelings. As a practitioner of that philosophy, Oscar becomes a frank hedonist when he wears a mask. Oscar says people live only for pleasure, and joy isn't a thing that ages. As an embodiment of his guild's motto in the city of eternal moratorium, he lives like he is thoroughly ignoring reality.
