Yes it really is spelled Managarmr.
* Named after a warg (wolf) in Norse mythology of the [[Wikipedia:Hati_Hróðvitnisson|same name]] that chases the moon (personified as the moon god [[Wikipedia:Máni|Máni]] and was to devour it during [[Wikipedia:Ragnarök|Ragnarök]] along with his brother [[Wikipedia:Sköll|Sköll]] who chases the sun (personified as the sun goddess [[Wikipedia:Sól|Sól]]).
** He and his brother are the two sons of a giantess and the Norse wolf {{Transient icon|Fenrir}}.
*** This also suggests that {{Transient icon|Jormungandr}} is his paternal uncle.
** His duty in Norse mythology is referenced in Hati's obsession with the idol {{Transient icon|Gabriel}}, an angel of the moon.
