===A Town Named Betrayal (2) (Roppongi 7-Chome)===
While Ophion was leading the attack on Shinjuku, Lucifuge has engaged the Missionaries in battle just as Ophion requested him to do. But, to his surprise, the Moondwarves he summons from his Sacred Artifact are having trouble taking hold due to Arsalan's holy oil crippling them. Fortunately, he is forced to withdraw upon learning of Hakumen's assault in order to protect his 'friend', much to Arsalan's confusion.
Cut to Hills Tower,. Having managed to escape, Licht receives a phone call informing him of Lucifuge's imminent return. Instructing the person on the other end to 'be as convincing as possible' when relaying this information to Ophioin, he gloats about being about to takes the three leaders of the Tycoons out without arousing suspicion onto himself. However, his moment is cut off by {{Transient icon|Kuniyoshi}}, a fellow art student at the museum Melusine and the Protagonist are currently at. Confused as to why he's been avoiding classes lately, Kuniyoshi tries to ask Licht what he's been up to, but he quickly deflects the question to why he's outside Hills Tower when he should be at an awards ceremony on the other side of Roppongi, to which Kuniyoshi responds he decided to no show upon being struck with inspiration. Once they separate, Licht goes to enact his designs for the Protagonist: with a simple phone call, Licht sets a trap for them, during which he intends to inconspicuously aid in their escape and manipulate them into becoming his tool as a means of repaying their debt to him, though he's confused as to why Melusine decided to position them at the art museum.
Cut to museum. As they wait for Licht to arrive, Melusine and the Protagonist discuss his paintings. The Protagonist finds themselves impressed with the works, in particular an unspecified piece they claim 'speaks to them'. However, they are interrupted by several gangsters part of the plot to attack them. However, before they can make a move on their target, Licht, who had arrived earlier and was moved by the Protagonist's genuine respect for his art, impulsively intercedes and attacks them, unwittingly marking himself as a traitor to his own guild.
