Once the immediate threat is taken care of, Toji, despite his obvious misgivings about the App, informs Shiro and the Protagonist that the only way to deal with an Exception is to establish a hierarchy between the two conflicting Rules by kissing, though he relents that it doesn't have to involve making out. Once the hierarchy is established while in direct contact with the Exception, the App will be able to reset itself. While Toji runs off to deal with the reinforcements Yog-Sothoth spawned, the Protagonist and Shiro make their way toward Yog-Sothoth. As they make their way forward, Shiro begins panicking about the devastation he unwittingly caused, forcing the Protagonist to reign him in as they fight their way through the wall of enemies. | |||
