He has a self-restrained personality that respects the rules and directions of organizations and the pecking order. Those in the same club like this nature of his, but they also have thought of it as too inflexible and straight-laced. Of note, he's been relentlessly struck and pushed back many times by hearty and rough opponents. On the other hand, he's weak to openhearted good will and temptation, and he possesses an innocent side that would immediately swear to marriage. Notes

• Part of the Eight Dog Warriors (Hakkenshi) in the novel Nansō Satomi Hakkenden, where they are distinguished by their peony shaped birthmark, the emblem of the Satomi clan, and carrying a bead bearing a kanji character that reflects one of the eight fundamental virtues of Confucianism.
  • Inuta Kobungo Yasuyori bears the bead with the virtue "tei" (悌) meaning brotherhood and has his birthmark on his right butt cheek.
    • The same character can be seen written on his mawashi.
• The sword Yasuyori carries is one of the pair of swords from the Inukawa family, the sword he specifically carries is named Ochiba (落葉).
  • The other sword is named Koshino (小篠) that is currently in the possession of Tanetomo.
• Yasuyori is war-torn due to the memories he has acquired that makes him question his own allegiance to the own he cares for. His strong sense of kinship has him exile himself first rather than take the chance of him betraying his fellow kin.
• Apart from Tadatomo and Moritaka, who are affiliated with the Agents and the Summoners respectively, the other Hakkenshi are split evenly with the three big guilds in Tokyo. He and Tanetomo are affiliated with the Warmongers. The status of the other four Hakkenshi are currently unknown outside of Masanori who was mentioned to be with the Invaders.
