"A Transient taken in by Santa Claus on Christmas Eve who enjoys saunas and loves taking care of people. Something that happened when he made the trip to Tokyo has left him with only half of his memories, leading him to imprint on Santa in his vulnerability, and now considers his own work as Santa's helper to be his Role. Tomte feels an indescribable strangeness when forming relationships with others but still does his best to get closer to those around him. As a result, he has a tendency to make trouble for or annoy others when trying to do nice things for them. Tomte is said to have had great talent taking care of animals and helping farmers in his home world, and thanks to his skills, he's come to be known as the Top Breeder of his school, making him one of the most coveted students by all school departments. He also feels a deep obligation and gratitude towards Santa Claus for taking him in."

Because of that environment he's 'reliant' on Santa and has self-admitted to helping with that work as his Role. When it comes to having connections with others, he has some sense of discomfort inside himself that he can't put into words. Despite that, as a result of taking great efforts to make friends he often makes unwelcome favors. In his original world, it is said that he showed a great talent in helping with farmers and looking after animals. He's used that to become known as the Santa School's top breeder and highly useful in all its subjects. Tomte holds a great gratitude of debt towards the one who once found him.

Notes

Tomte is based on a famous Scandinavian mythological Christmas figure. In the folklore, Tomte is described as really short, with long white beard wearing farmer clothing. Tomte is well-known for being the protector of farmers and their land from misfortune. It is customary among Scandinavian people to offer gratitude to Tomte's protection by leaving him a bowl of porridge on Christmas Eve.
His charge skill, Vihta Loyly, comes from two elements in Finnish sauna. "Vihta" is the fragrant silver birch used to relax the muscle by beating one's body with it, and "Löyly" is the wet steam produced by "kluas", the special stove used to warm up the sauna.
