Official English "This Transient from the world of El Dorado is one of the leaders of the Warmongers, the guild controlling West Tokyo. His luchadores, who have dedicated themselves to his worship back in their home world, are never far from the vanguard in battles against other guilds. Although he always seems in high spirits, he is also calm and collected. He maintains a fervent belief in the act of sacrificing one's body to war for the sake of the world. When his home world was created, he first lost his right leg, followed soon by almost all of the rest of his body. Because of this, his apparent body now is nothing but a false image reflected in his Mirrors, and he can change it at will. He also enjoys altering his shape depending on the circumstances, transforming into various forms to keep his opponents guessing. As he is skilled at night warfare, he often takes the form of a nocturnal spider, although the evident enjoyment he finds in this tends to confuse those of his subordinates whom he has turned unwillingly into spiders, who don't see the attraction. He has a hard time with opponents that don't rely on sight, as his tricks will not work on them."

Translated from Japanese A Transient from the world of El Dorado. He is also one of the leaders of the guild that rules Western Tokyo, the Warmongers. He uses the luchadores who offered him their faith in his homeworld as his soldiers, and he stands at the forefront of the battles against the other guilds. Tezcatlipoca always appears to be promoting himself, and his character is the very image of being calm and collected. Official English "The World Representative of El Dorado, who acts on behalf of his world's fate, possesses obsidian Mirror Sacred Artifacts that can reflect any events, even those in the past, in order to fulfill his role. Through these Mirrors, he projects the body he once had in order to create the illusion that he is still alive and well. He both loves and hates war more than anything, and he is at once banisher and would-be exile from his home world. Such are necessary conditions for representing the System of El Dorado, whose defining characteristic is the belief that sacrifice is intrinsically honorable. His firm belief in the relationship between fate and slavery tends to earn him empathy from others with the same beliefs. Furthermore, he feels something akin to compassion toward those who, like him, know the pain of being in conflict with oneself."

Translated from Japanese Tezcatlipoca is the acting agent of El Dorado's fate called the World Representative. To fulfill that role, the black mirror Sacred Artifact he was given has the power to project what happens anywhere, even things that occurred in the past. He uses it to project his "former body" and pretend that he is in good health. He simultaneously loves and hates war above all. He is both the exiler and exiled from the world. This is a necessary condition to represent System El Dorado, which upholds the belief that sacrifice in itself is an honor as its greatest feature. He has a resolute belief in the connection between slaves and destiny, so he has sympathies from those like him. Also, he has something very close to compassion towards the pain of those who present an opposite side of themselves in private like himself.

There's a spider in my bathroom I've had around for a while now and I've taken to putting other bugs in his web or trapping them in there so he can catch them. He was just dining on a little black beetle I left for him last time I visited. I pretend he's Tezcat in his spider form and that we're dating and tell him about my day while he eats. I have showered in front of him, act shy about it, and sometimes get hard under his gaze. Just sometimes.

Tez in FGO: sacrifices GOOD! Ripping out the hearts to dedicate to war gods GOOD! We need merciless gods so we can dedicate our wars to them as this shifts the sins to them and we won’t develop psychological issues from that! In fact if you try to stray from this tradition like a dumbass, you are effectively damaging your own psyche, the empire, and the glorious cities built upon a bloodied river!

Actually based writing in FGO. Historic relativism is extremely important for shit like this. Aztecs had a complex and constantly changing culture and while they did absolutely have a lot of human sacrifice, to act like it was simple blood lust is silly and ignorant of their culture.

Empathizing with their culture and their reasons, showing that their way of life has meaning regardless of how it's viewed now in the present, and not just going with a cop-out reason of "Aztecs are... LE BAD and are a bunch of stupid barbarians so the only way I should write them as human is if they give up all their culture and have them admit that it was stupid, then have them all decry their stupid practice and barbarism."

Do NOT face Tezcatlipoca alone when Astral projecting

Today while astral projecting I summoned him to try and weaken him so our sacred artefacts would work better.

He is so fucking powerful. I’m not at a power level to do this alone. I barely escaped with my life and I’m spiritually injured to a great amount, but I think I’ll make it.

I can’t imagine what he would do to a new, unsuspecting summoner. I’m scared that I will have to face him again soon if I ever want to continue astral projecting. I’m currently burning healing incense and drawing spiritual energy from my transient stones to try and heal as quickly as possible.

Please be safe everyone. Tezcatlipoca is much stronger than I first imagined and we will have to do this together if we want to summon a god.
