After subduing Oniwaka and his thugs, Kengo confronts the Protagonist about them helping him out even though he told them to focus on Shiro before the group turns their attention to Oniwaka. Despite their attempts to get him to resolve this peacefully, Oniwaka rebukes their offers of friendship and understanding, claiming their success makes them blind to what people like him have to go through. He renews his attempt to steal the power of Kengo's Sacred Artifact, but a slash of light separates the group out and causes Oniwaka to disappear. When they reunite, the first thing they notice is that Kengo and Oniwaka's clash appears to have triggered another Exception event. However, there appears to be no immediate danger as the Exception inside {{Thansient icon|Thor}} appears to be struggling to escape into Tokyo. | |||
