Despite Shiro and the Protagonist managing to hold their own, it becomes clear that Snow was nearly toying with them. He informs them that, despite their skill and courage, he can't let them in without the recommendation of an 'established gladiator'. Snow then ups the ante by subduing Shiro and, in an attempt to make his next appointment, summons three bladed discs to incapacitate the Protagonist. when they regain consciousness, they find themselves away from the Coliseum in the company of {{Transient icon|Shuichi}} and his brother {{Transient icon|Duo}}. After Shiro makes a few quick introductions, Shuichi then casually reveals he's not only Cain, but that he and Duo are top ranking members of the [[Wisemen]], a Guild within the App operating out of Bonkyo Ward.
