After battle, Ryota finds a {{Item|Transient Stone}} after the battle, and Salomon-kun explains what it is. Ryota and the Protagonist return to Shinjuku Academy and come across Kengo Takabushi and Shiro Motoori, with whom Ryota shares class. Ryota explains his tardiness and disheveled appearance to Shiro, and Shiro thanks the Protagonist. The trio exchanges numbers with them to thank them on a later date due to a timely curfew. They exchange IDs with each other on the App. The Protagonist indicates they don’t have anywhere to which to return, so Shiro invites them to the trio’s dorm, and intends to appeal to Kyoma Mononobe. Passing the cafeteria, the Protagonist notes the different Transients inside the [[school|Shinjuku Academy]], which Ryota clarifies are non-stray Transients. Kengo and Ryota point out that Transients are everywhere, and can be found among both students and teachers. The group walks into {{Transient icon|Triton}} outside, and he has a short exchange with the trio, before {{Transient icon|Jinn}} appears. Jinn and Triton have a quibble over how disciplinary they should be to the group and how the other dresses. Shiro interrupts them to explain the situation, but Triton and Jinn are already aware of a Transfer student and take him to Kyoma. Kyoma introduces himself and prepares their forms for transfer to the school and for wardship under Kyoma as guardian. These forms are all signed with their handwriting, but without their recollection of signing them. The Protagonist is signed to reside in the same dorm as the trio.
