Overview

Adapted with permission from the Housamo Gameplay-Based Tier List. Remove this disclaimer when Overview is sufficiently modified.

Default Glint and CP Up bolsters the rest of Kurogane's skill set, LB1 is a nice effect that allows him to take the hits and let other backline allies benefit from increased sturdiness, Weakness is a great ailment that increases damage taken and him and his allies can see great benefit from it, though please consider he needs to be leader to make use of it. LB3 pushes his sturdiness further and allows him to reach his amazing Charge faster, Concentration is just like Glint, with both stacking for himself and allowing others to boast of increased proc rates, which can make for some very interesting interactions. Both versions are largely the same, 3☆ works just fine largely because 5☆ is rare to find and both do the same thing.

Class: Bruiser, Mixed Support

Gameplay Role:

Pros

+ Default Glint bolsters the proc rates of his skills overall, at guaranteed rate, which allows him to be a bit more efficient.

+ LB1 allows allies besides him and himself to be considerably sturdier, with LB3 further augmenting his durability considerably.

+ LB2 has a nice effect that allows his allies to pinpoint vulnerable targets for elimination. Please consider he should be leader due to Weakness’ short-lived duration.

+ Charge is amazing for applying Concentration and pump CP to his allies, the former is especially useful for his allies’ proc rates and helps his own proc rates as well.

Cons

- Craves for his Glint to patch up his otherwise very mediocre proc rates.

- Has a few special damage bonuses, with none of them really approached, making them mostly an useless bonus.

- Needs his allies to exploit his LB2, otherwise it’s not approached much.
