When not cosplaying, he always keeps his head down and his left eye covered by his hair, due to the power that eye has to attract the full attention of everyone who sees it. This fact has given him a slight complex when out in public, causing him to adopt a stand-offish disposition and gravitate toward niche two-dimensional media that he can enjoy alone. He tends to wear clothing that's ill-suited to his body type despite having a well-proportioned figure that even occasionally earns him the attention of modeling scouts (much to his chagrin). Often shortens his name to Cato when cosplaying, and has become a bit more open and sociable since finding others who are happy to indulge in the hobby with him. Translated from Japanese A Transient belonging to Akihabara Academy where the Creators meet. He is always hanging his head in shame and covering his eyes with his hair, but it seems that this is out of fear of meeting eyes with anyone. As a result he's become an otaku-spirited cosplayer that adores things in 2D that can't look back at him. Catoblepas has a perfectly proportioned body that would get him scouted from his main job as a model, but since he doesn't realize this himself he usually wears off-sized clothing and dresses like a mess. If his eyes are ever unhidden, everyone would surely look into them. His cosplayer handle is Catoble, though sometimes he's called Catoble-san. It seems he's recently made a friend he can enjoy cosplaying with. He feels evasive towards people who seal away refuges and allow no escape.

Official English "Catoblepas's Sacred Artifact is his own so-called evil eye, which holds the power to force those who meet its gaze to see him and only him. The Akihabara Creators didn't mind this perceived shyness, however, and welcomed him into their fold just as he is. His physique is perfect for it, yet his physical stamina is low, contributing to his slow and often clumsy movement. He gets along well with those who share his desire to become a true Creator."

Translated from Japanese Catoblepas possesses an evil eye Sacred Artifact. It has the power to force people to look into it and nail them to where they stand. He fears harming anyone with this ability, so he is always hanging his head and looking down. However, he has seen that the Creators in Tokyo aren't afraid of that. They'd look anyone in the eyes and aren't afraid of harming anyone. What if he could make a work like that? What if he could become a work like that? Those are the thoughts that spurred him into cosplaying. His physique makes turning around in itself difficult, so his movements are slow and he often trips up. He feels familiarity for those who adore Creators as well.

Does anyone else feel that his bodybuild body doesn't fit the character...like, at all?
