The demerit of Arslan applying Holy Oil to enemies with his Charge Skill is not as bad as one might think. Just like debuffs, buffs on the enemy countdown by 1 at the start of the enemies turn. This means any Holy Oil given to the enemy will countdown from 2 to 1 right away, and then from 1 to 0 on their next turn. In other words, the healing effects of Holy Oil only lasts 1 turn for the enemy. And if you have Arlan attack last, the defense boost only affects the enemy for just 1 turn as well. | |||
