Official Japanese 「ほら～っ、早く起きてよレイヴ先輩ってば！　ボクが居ないとすぐに二度寝するんだからぁ。」 「おいおい、俺は昨日までずっと徹夜だったんだぜカーシー。頼むからもう少し寝かせてくれっての ……ふああっ、てなわけでお休み……。」 それは朝の台東区・飢野獣人荘で交わされるいつもの光景。 生活リズムが乱れまくり、１分でも多く寝ようとするレイヴ。 そして遅刻しないように叩き起こそうとするカーシー。 だがそんな徹夜続きの日も、自分たちの悲願のための研究故と、カーシーはちゃんと知っている。 そんなカーシーだから時には、ぐうたらな先輩の二度寝を許してあげたりも、する。 そしてその安眠をちょっと頼りない番犬として、頑張って守ったりもするのだ。 上野ギルド「ビーストテイマーズ」においてのレイヴとカーシーは、ただ「権能」の相性だけでツーマンセルを組んでいるのではない。 誰かに先立たれた悲しみを、２人は分かち合い、寄り添いながら生きている。 このカーシーの持つもうひとつの「神器」は妖精グルアガッホの遺した、幸福を授ける襟巻。 誰かを見送って生き残ったことは「相手に不幸を押し付けた」からか、それとも「相手から幸福をもらった」からか。 過去に傷ついた２人の心が今、このひと時の思い出の中で癒されてゆく。
