"A crow tengu Transient from the Land of Wa. Has tanned skin, an outgoing if slightly unruly personality, and a deep love for the town he's been summoned into. Studies at liberal arts-centric Akihabara Academy, with a special focus on traditional crafts which include swordsmithing and kimono-making. In other departments at his school, there are lots of students who are almost obsessively passionate about manga, anime, gaming, livestreaming, illustration, and other such pursuits—all things Akiha Gongen doesn't really understand very well himself, but since so many of his friends are so devoted to them, he tries his best to learn about these seemingly foreign hobbies and activities anyway. He's even willing to take part in some rather risque cosplay if it means getting to know the people around him a bit better! Some have come to call him the Compassionate Black Crow for his devout willingness to understand his friends' passions. Outside of school, he spends his mornings dutifully training with the local Youth Fire Brigade, which helps him maintain his own sense of discipline as well as his chiseled form. He's determined to help protect Tokyo from the many disasters caused by the ever-increasing social unrest that seems to be spreading through the city of late. And indeed, if anyone close to him should ever seek aid, he would immediately jump into action with his Rule, even should that action take him right into a pit of flames. Given the nature of his Rule, however, those with a zest for creative expression often tend to keep their distance from him, many of them afraid of him inadvertently putting an end to their good times."

A karasu tengu Transient from the world of Wa no Kuni. He's a mild gangster who really loves the area he was summoned to and has tanned skin. He attends Akihabara Academy where many creative types go to school, where he takes traditional craft courses in things like swordsmithing and clothes making. There are many other students who attend this school that love the other courses like manga, anime, game distribution, and illustration. He may not understand it much, but Akiha thinks highly of his friends who are so passionate about their favorite things. He is very assertive in trying out somewhat risque cosplay, and his nearby friends often get involved with it. Some of those around him call him the "black crow who's nice to otaku," but of course he doesn't get this. Outside of school, he works hard every morning in training drills as part of his local youth firefighter team and super buff clique. Akiha is enthusiastic about protecting the city of Tokyo with his own hands from the disasters arising from increasing social anxiety nowadays. Should someone close to him ask him for help, Akiha would use his power and jump into the sea of flames to do so. But it's also because of this power that some of the passionate creators around him fear him and distance themselves from him.

"Akiha Gongen's Sacred Artifact is a firefighter's Rope, of the sort used to rescue hapless victims from out-of-control infernos. It's for this reason, in fact, that his existence was split from another's and he was summoned to Akihabara, which was at the time a burned-out wasteland. His Rule of Extinguishing can isolate and immediately snuff out any conflagration, be it physical or mental, and his mastery of this Rule has earned him considerable praise for his rope-handling skills during training at the local Youth Fire Brigade. He prides himself so highly in regards to his mastery of the rope that he cannot help but feel extremely competitive around those who show even remotely similar levels of prowess, irrespective of their age or training status. As an aspiring firefighter, Akiha's Rope is his indispensable partner, yet it is also his undoing in some ways. For you see, this Rope extinguishes any and every fire, including the flame of passion that drives those who are dedicated to their creative endeavors. And as a member of a guild called the Creators, it should be no surprise that this has caused some issues, particularly with their Guild Master. Akiha nonetheless continues to try his best to become a part of his friends' worlds, perhaps in an effort to atone for his past mistakes. One friend in particular has become his go-to best buddy, often relying on Akiha for help creating swords and kimonos to use in cosplay."

Akiha possesses a Sacred Artifact Buddhist symbol of a buddha's work to save people that takes the form of a rope. This is the reason his Divided Spirit was transferred to Akihabara, a place that was once burned down. It has the power to prevent fires, and it does so by catching both physical and spiritual spreading fires and extinguishing them at once. He is able to manipulate this ability at will, and he shows exceptional skill at rope handling in his youth firefighter squad's rescue drills. He seems to feel irritated at rival rope handlers regardless of age differences. As an aspiring firefighter, he regards his rope as a partner and a reassuring special tool, but there is a problem with this. This Sacred Artifact can extinguish the passionate solidarity indispensable to otaku and creative types in an instant as well. Due to this and other things Akiha has some trouble with the Akihabara guild he belongs too, especially the guildmaster. His proactive association with his otaku friends stems from his sense of atonement for that. Maybe. He holds a sense of closeness with a certain cosplayer who relies on him for swords and kimonos.
