{{#vardefine:transient jp en research file|A Transient from the worlf of Wa no Kuni who calls himself Ishikawa Goemon, the great peerless thief who runs gallantly atop the rooftiles. But in truth, he is actually a shapeshifting tanuki beastman who is drawing the memories out of the kettle Sacred Artifact. In other words, he's someone else entirely. Ever since he's been summoned to Tokyo he's been making use of those memories and performing a role with the same name in a kabuki theater in Asakusa. As Ishikawa Goemon was a former ninja, the tanuki is able to use ninjatsu as well as the one using those memories. Since he behaves as if sharing the same identity as Ishikawa Goemon, he also recieves the same feelings other people would have towards him. As a result, he seems to have a one-sided dislike for the chivalrous thief ninja in blue that he sees as a rival.}}
