Notes
- His stage persona, Ishikawa Goemon, is based on Japanese legendary noble thief from Momoyama period, who stole from the rich and give them to the poor.
- His charge skill, Sanmon Gosan no Kiri, is a reference to a famous kabuki play featuring Ishikawa Goemon, which is still performed to this day.
- Goemon being a shapeshifting tanuki with a kettle sacred artifact is based on Bunbuku Chagama (Bunbuku Tea-Kettle), a Japanese fairy tale about a tanuki who is rescued from ill-treatment by priests at a temple. He paid the kindness of his rescuer by helping them became wealthier by doing acrobatic performance or shapeshifting into a kettle so they can sold it off for a profit.
