"It all began like any other Halloween performance. Chernobog's friend, who frequently volunteered at Daikanyama Academy, informed the enthusiastic director of his presence and asked him to perform. はじめ、チェルノボーグには、その生い立ちにちなんだ「魔王」の配役が与えられるはずであった。

それをタローマティが「ありきたりでナンセンスだ」と語り、真逆の「勇者」の配役を与えたのは、「魔王として生まれたのならば、魔王を演じるに最適であろう」というその「固定観念」を彼女が好まなかったからだった。
そしてそれは、彼女が「主君」と仰ぐ、故郷で「魔王」と呼ばれた者から彼女に与えられた価値観から呼び起こされた思いであった。
終わらぬ祝祭を望んだ妖精たちの悪戯によって、「劇場」という閉じられた空間は「妖精郷」へと転じていく。
自らを「魔王」と仰ぐカボチャの妖精たちの存在が、タローマティの「対者」としての役割に結び付き――仰がれるべき「魔王」としての力をその身に帯びさせる。
そして、同時にそれは、相対するものを魔王の対――「勇者」であることをも証明する。
すなわち、ただ気まぐれで役を取り換えただけのつもりであったチェルノボーグが、「魔王タローマティ」の対を成すもの――かりそめではない「勇者チェルノボーグ」にも成りうることの証明でもあったのだ。
タローマティの故郷ガローデマーンのとある別の魔王が受けるべき信仰に相乗りする形で、チェルノボーグは東京へと転光している。
それが故に、タローマティにとって彼は、懐かしむべき、親しみを感じる相手となっている。
