"A renowned thief who glides across rooftops at night, this Transient from the Land of Wa goes by the name of Goemon Ishikawa. However, behind the mask, he is actually a Tanuki Therian who absorbed the original Goemon's memories from his Pot Sacred Artifact. In other words, someone else altogether. Utilizing those memories, he has performed the role of Goemon Ishikawa at the Kabukiza Theater in Asakusa ever since being summoned to Tokyo. As the original Goemon was a ninja, this Transient has been able to replicate his ninja techniques through the memories of his Pot Sacred Artifact. By virtue of the name he uses, others often treat him as they would his namesake. As a result, a certain blue-clad chivalrous thief purportedly harbors a one-sided dislike of him."

A Transient from the world of Wa no Kuni who calls himself Ishikawa Goemon, the great peerless thief who runs gallantly atop the roof tiles. But in truth, he is actually a shapeshifting tanuki beastman who is drawing the memories out of the kettle Sacred Artifact. In other words, he's someone else entirely. Ever since he's been summoned to Tokyo he's been making use of those memories and performing a role with the same name in a kabuki theater in Asakusa. As Ishikawa Goemon was a former ninja, the tanuki is able to use ninjutsu as well as the one using those memories. Since he behaves as if sharing the same identity as Ishikawa Goemon, he also receives the same feelings other people would have towards him. As a result, he seems to have a one-sided dislike for the chivalrous thief ninja in blue that he sees as a rival.

"The Pot Sacred Artifact produces old, oval coins called koban, said to have been stolen by Goemon Ishikawa. Goemon is known for gleefully scattering these coins from the rafters as he either fights or flees. Between his innate Tanuki abilities, stagecraft learned from his youth, and his childhood temple training, Goemon has access to a wide variety of techniques. He could even be called a Jack of all trades, albeit master of none. He often implements these techniques in his short skits. He tends to be partial to those who possess similar Sacred Artifacts that never run dry of what they create."

The kettle Sacred Artifact is said to flow with many gold koban coins Ishikawa Goemon is said to have once stolen. Goemon heroically seizes them, fights by flinging them from a rooftop, then runs after a certain amount of time. With the magical tanuki sorcery he originally possessed, the street performance arts he cultivated when he was very young, and the temple training he undertook as a child, he has acquired a diverse range of skills. Or maybe you could call him a jack of all trades. The skits he sometimes puts on have these techniques crafted into them, composite fine arts so to speak. When regarding someone who has a similar Sacred Artifact that with the power to produce nigh endless things, he has feelings similar to familiarity.

Transient Summons
Notes
- His stage persona, Ishikawa Goemon, is based on the Japanese legendary noble thief from Azuchi-Momoyama period of the same name, who stole from the rich and give them to the poor.
- His charge skill, Sanmon Gosan no Kiri (also known as The Golden Gate and the Paulownia Crest in English), is named after the famous kabuki play featuring Ishikawa Goemon, which is still performed to this day.
- Goemon being a shapeshifting tanuki with a kettle Sacred Artifact is based on Bunbuku Chagama (Bunbuku Tea-Kettle), a Japanese fairy tale about a tanuki who is rescued from ill-treatment by priests at a temple. He paid the kindness of his rescuer by helping them became wealthier by doing acrobatic performance or shapeshifting into a kettle so they can sold it off for a profit.
- This is a reference to his true identity as Shukaku, the tanuki from Bunbuku Chagama.
